I’m using elementor alongside generatepress. Recently post titles showing on the actual article have completely disappeared, I’ve checked post settings and the template is not using canvas nor are content titles disabled. On the elementor side of things titles are not hidden in page settings.

There is also no CSS that would indicate that titles should be hidden for posts.

    Hi there,

Does the title show if you create a new post without Elementor?

If not then can you check if there are any layout elements created that might be causing the issue?

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Leo,

Just tested, the title did show when I didn’t use elementor to create the post.

In that case I would check with Elementor’s support team and see if they can help to identify the issue.

There are only two ways to disable the content title.

One is the layout element I linked above, the other is the disable element metabox:

Yeah it doesn’t look to be either the metabox settings or elements. In elements there is no layout created, in the metabox the only thing disabled is page header/featured image – which after turning off has changed nothing anyway.

Yeah in that case I would recommend checking with Elementor to see if they can help to identify the issue.
