Post title as block - page hero on front page only displaying as "blog"

Hi
I have a page hero on the front page displaying the latest post (see screenshot). However, the title of the latest post only displays as "blog" rather than the actual title of the latest post. In elements, I have set it as Dynamic text type -> Title; and Dynamic link type -> Single post, so it should work.

Instead of choosing page hero as element type, choose content templateinstead, apply to first post:
