Post images are not showing when someone is sharing them on their social account

Hello, Team GP.
I'm using .webp images as featured images on my blog post. But when I test it to share this on social media account then the post feature image is not showing and it shows website logo and post title for all the post. And it is only happening on Facebook. Before a month everything was okay. Any help or suggestions.
Ohh, I think Facebook is not supported .webp images.

yeah - i would suggest if you need webP images, then using a Plugin that converts the images is the best method. They will only swap the image in a browser that supports them. So it won't affect things like social sharing or legacy browsers that don't have webP support.
