Hi guys:
I seem to remember (?) there is a way to shorten the post excerpt length on GP— or am I mistaken?

Hi Howard,
You should be able to set the excerpt length at customizer > layout > blog:

Make sure you have the Blog module activated at appearance > GeneratePress :)
