[Resolved] Post displays differently on main page

I have a post that is displaying differently on the main page compared to when I click on the post. Go to 8thcentury.com and look for the post “Dem bones are his bones.” On the main page the first four lines are supposed to be right justified with line breaks. There are also footnotes that are supposed to look like footnotes. Everything works, however, when I click on the post and give it it’s own page.

Any ideas?

When displaying your blog using excerpts, WP will strip all HTML tags, including right aligned code etc..

If you want to display HTML in your blog excerpts, go to “Appearance > Customize > Blog > Blog Content” and set it to “show full post”.

Now if you want to set a point where the user has to click through to keep reading, you can use the more tag: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/using-the-more-tag/
