Post content not showing up (only the title)

Ran into something odd on a friend's hobby site. When they make a new post, only the title shows on the front page. But if you click on the title to the single page, the content shows up fine.
Making this weirder, if I put some dummy text in the post, it will show up. But the actual content (it's just an image and a YouTube embed - you'll see it when you click through) won't show up.
It's a fairly stock GP theme, nothing crazy done except for a few added colors. Any idea what would cause this? I'm sure it's something stupid, but I'm stumped.
