Post connected to the web page identity

Hello, there is constantly a post connected to my web page identity - this is the page that shows immediately when you enter the domain name. I would like to have no posts at all on my web page; how is that possible? How do I put in a static front page instead?
Thank you in advance for your support.
Jesper
Hi there,
This is handled by WordPress core:

Hope this helps :)
Hi Leo - I'm sorry I don't get that display. The lower part of that reading setting page is similar but the upper part is non existing in my program. What shall I do?
All the best!
Can you provide admin access to your site?
You can use the private info field to enter sensitive info.
Let me know :)
I send you a private field info
Hi Jesper,
All you pages are set to private, can you try publish at least one page publicly?
Yes now "Forside" is set to public.
Do you want more pages set to public? - you are free to investigate yourself inside the admin.
The settings are showing not at settings > reading, you can assign a static page as homepage now.

Ok, what was the problem??
The problem is there should be at least 1 publicly published static page for this setting to work.
It's just how this function works :)
Thank you so much Ying!!
You are welcome :)
