Hello, I have created a post block using the below tutorial.
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-content-template/

There are few things which need to be fixed.
1. The block is not showing the contents of the post but the homepage.
2. Need to reduce the post block container width.

Please assist me in this regard.

Hi June,

The content template can only apply to archive pages, your home page is a static page, it will NOT work.

Aha! Alright.
I want to display one latest post like in the search site-library template. I have installed WP Show Post plugin but it is giving blog post archive page look. I want to display it on homepage like in the image here.
Please help me achieve the same design.

Hi June,

You may need to get WP Show Posts Pro or a plugin that does a similar card style.

AS for WP Show Posts, here's the demo card styles page - https://demos.wpshowposts.com/cards/

The closest to the style on the image are the Overlay card styles.

Thank you, Elvin :)
Is there any free plugin you could suggest that would do the work please.

I'm not aware of any plugin that offers this kind of card styling for free, unfortunately.

Usually, this kind of styling is either on a paid plugin or a paid page builder's grid post widget.

No problem! I would consider going with WP show posts pro then. Thank you :D

No problem. :)
