    Hi Max,

How are you adding the TOC currently and how is it not working? Can you explain a bit more?

For clarity, can you also provide screenshots of it not working when you say “with Headlines of Generate press it doesnt work”.

    I see.

Can you reach out to Rankmath and see if they have insights regarding the issue? Also, ask them if there are any steps needed for GenerateBlocks Headline Blocks to be recognized by their TOC.

    Answer of Rankmath:

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Unfortunately, Rank Math’s Table of Content is simply a Gutenberg block (WordPress block editor), and as such only works with the blocks from that page editor.

This implementation is designed to work only with the Gutenberg editor and its blocks:

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

thats a pity, i would have expected they could add a filter to find alternative blocks, but if they do not then there is nothing we can do to change that.

But … may i ask why you’re not using the core Heading Blocks?
We recommend that GB Headlines are used when you need to break from standard theme styles or creating a custom layout . But for writing post content its best to use the core blocks.
