Hello, I'd like to create a half-page size dropdown menu containing a large list of choices from a menu selection. Native wordpress seems to only allow one choice at a time. Can you recommend options?

Hi there,

just to be clear - will this menu allow users to make multiple selections ? eg. check boxes - so its more of a filter then a menu

Well I discovered a plugin called ubermenu that might work for what I want.

Aah ok - if you need a simple mega menu then you can use the CSS provided in this doc:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/building-simple-mega-menu/

If you need anything more advanced then that plugin or Mega Menu Plugin is the way to go.

It seems like the metamenus work on desktop but revert to basic menus on mobile.

Yes, all the CSS in the link David provided is for desktop view.

Mobile screen is usually too small to use mega menu.
