1. Hi! Right now, the only plugins I have are:
GP Premium
WP Forms Lite
BackUpBuddy2. I just purchased SBI! for WP. If that’s a plugin, then I’ll install it also.
3. I would like to install Akismet as a spam filter. Any problems with this?
4. I saw “Anti-Spam Honeypot” mentioned in an online article. Would this be good to install?

We don’t have any experience with any of those plugins so you’d have to do the tests for yourselve.
GP will work with any plugins that are built to work with WordPress themes.

Ho do I test a plugin? I don’t want to break anything, introduce anything dangerous, etc
You can create a staging site to do this.
