Plugin running in the background

Hi, I have a quiz plugin, but I am not actively using it. However, I think it may still run in the background as it comes up on speed tests. I don't want to disable the plugin because of the saved settings/quizzes, and I may use it in the future. Is it possible to block it from running on my site without disabling it?

I don't believe disabling the plugin will erase your saved settings but I'm not sure - it's best to check with the plugin support.

This isn't something GP/themes can control.
Ok was just asking for a magical solution haha... I will ask their support!
