How to place a loader on “Place Order” button. The loader is at the top of the page which doesn’t make sense. Any plugin to achieve this?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
I’m not quite sure what you mean?
Not seeing anything unusual at the top of the page.
Let me know 🙂

Thanks for the reply Leo.
I was asking whether it is possible to inset loader inside the ” Place order” button.

Any example you can show me?

@Leo The Place Order loader is on the top of the page, but that is not helpful for customers when the Place Order button is at the bottom of the page. There is no Visual Cue for the customer that the order is being processed.
The default WooCommerce setup is to have the loader in the center of the page with a transparent white overlay. Can you add that to your WooCommerce template/CSS? I think this would help with the UX.
Thanks,

StaffCustomer SupportOhh the spinner?
That’s a WooCommerce issue unfortunately. See this post for more info:

But the default WooCommerce setup does add a transparent white (maybe 70% opacity) overlay above the checkout section during processing. Is that something we would have to add back in as custom CSS, or can you add that to your theme/plugins Template/CSS files?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI don’t believe GP actually moves the default spinner. Can you try it without any other plugins/WooCommerce modifications activated?

I’m glad that I’ve found this topic. Is it possible to use a loading “place order” button like this one: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_css_loading_buttons
It’s necessary because of this problem with here: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/woocommerce-checkout-spinner/
