[Support request] Place hook based on country selected in check out

Hello, I want to create a notice that will display on the Woocommerce check page using a hook/block but I need it to display for any country selected as the shipping destination excluding the United Kingdom (or any other specified country). Is this possible?

Hi David, thanks for the link although I already tried that and it does not fully solve the issue as it only displays the message if someone selects the country. It does not consider existing customers where it is already selected on page load.

Further more, I tried it on our site and it seemed to display the message regardless of what country was selected so I wonder if it is compatible with the latest version of Woocommerce.

It looks like Woo is blocking the eventListener on the select element.
