Place Buttons Above Navigation - Hiding Header

Hi there,
Using the function generate_inside_navigation I have some buttons. I'm trying to place them directly ABOVE the navigation and floating right. Am using sticky menu and hiding the header. How can I get these to move, ah! Am I using the right hook?
