Hi, sorry for the basic question but in Pixel theme on the front page, how can I change those two side by side pics below the main picture to three?? So i can like to three not two galleries.

Hi there.

that is built with a GenerateBlocks Grid Block

So you need to set the column Containers to 33% wide, and then add a 3rd column. See here:

Can I please further ask having done the above, if i convert the images to ‘covers’ how I can remove the dark ‘mask’ that darkens the image.

With the Cover block selected in the sidebar block settings there is a panel Titled Overlay, below that reduce the Opacity to 0
