Picture in site header not working

Sorry for another noob problem.
I tried several times but cannot add a picture in my page header. (I mean site not post/single page).
I use proper size which customizer advise to me - 940x250px, it seems as the picture is adding but then i get only white screen.
Only way i can make header looking like i want is to set header background, and so i did.
What am i doing wrong?

I have edited wp.config file in my wordpress folder on ftp.
And tried once again, unfourtunately didnt help. Look like this ->

Try to upload your image via Background Addon.
Go to Appearance > Customizer > Background Images > Header
Background is working fine that i know.
What i want to acheive is in topic about slideshow in header, sorry to mess up so many subject...
That doesn't look like the correct header upload area - a plugin must be adding that section.
Go to "Customize > Site Identity" and you'll see the area to upload your logo.
