PHP 5.5 on GeneratePress

Does GeneratePress run the latest version of PHP?

I recently switched hosting providers and ran into problems because their system uses 5.5 and they said GP was using outdated PHP.

Is this something to be concerned about?

I'm running it just fine using PHP7.

I test GP with everything from PHP 5.3 to php 7 before every release.

Definitely no "outdated php" - sounds like their support was just looking for something to blame :)

No problem - if they see any specific code they think is outdated I would love to see it :)
