Lee
Hello there,
I’ve uploaded some images (gallery) to my page. I’m happy with the thumbnails, and how they appear, but when I click on one of the images, I’d like to then be able to click “next image”, to view the next image, rather than having to click the back button to get back to the original page.
Either that or maybe a photo slide show might work better.
Could you please tell me how to do this?
Many thanks.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
maybe you need a Lightbox plugin like this one:

Thanks.
I’ve downloaded and activated this plugin, but it doesn’t seem to appear in my builder?

StaffCustomer SupportCheck the plugin settings to make sure it is enabled – then it will work automatically. No block is required. It will simply open the Lightbox when a user clicks on the image.

Brilliant. Thank you.
If I wanted to just add a slideshow instead to reduce the data load on the page, could you please tell me how I might do that?
Many thanks again.

StaffCustomer SupportLike a slider? If so a plugin is needed.
This is my personal choice:
https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/smart-slider-3/There should be quite a few other options out there as well.

Hi Leo,
Is this slideshow (https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/smart-slider-3/) good for displaying photos in a photographer’s site I’m building with GereratePress?Look at some screenshots of the layout I intend to build. I would like the side arrows (they’re not on these screens) to display outside the pictures.
Should I create an Element, or Block Element, limited to a category? So that when my client will publish a gallery, all the structure is ready, she only has to chose the category, type the title and post the photos?
