Photo caption- unable to see?

I am not sure if this is GP problem or a WP problem but I've recently noticed that I cannot see my captions when creating a post and inserting an image. Normally I see a 'write caption' indicator below a photo. That is no longer there...and it seems I can write a caption, but it's showing up in white or I'm unable to see it?

Really strange...any ideas?

Hi there,

Can you link us to the page in question so we could check?

You can use the private information text field to provide the site details. Thank you.

Well it doesnt appear to happen on a page once published...its only while I am creating a post. Normally when I click on a photo.. there is a an option to write caption. Its like now that has completely disappeared.

Its like I am able to type in a caption, because I can see the typing "I" cursor, however the text color is white, so I cannot see what I am typing. When I click Post preview, I can see the caption then appears in black....

see below for preview link of post

The link you've provided is only accessible to admin/logged in users.

Any chance you could provide a screen recording of what you're seeing?

Here's the default behavior of adding captions: https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQuJ6kJe

Are you seeing a completely different behavior, colors, etc? Let us know.

Yes here is link to screen recording-

It's hard to tell if there are some edits made to the block-editor-styles.

Can you try disabling all plugins except GP premium to check if it still occurs?

We can only advise what to check but we can't confirm on our end unless we can log-in on your site to check, unfortunately.

How do I disable all plugins except GP premium? and will this have any negative effects on my site or progress?

Or do you have other recommendations? Can I message you my login credentials?

You can go to WP Admin Dashboard > Plugins > Installed plugins. Here, you should see a list of all the plugins installed in your site.

There's a checkbox on the left side of the items in the list. You can check ALL except GP Premium

You then select "Deactivate" on the Bulk action dropdown and click apply. This should deactivate all checked plugins.

The negative effect is that the contents that use the plugins you've deactivated will stop working but it should work fine once you reactivate the plugins you've deactivated.

Or do you have other recommendations? Can I message you my login credentials?

You can use the private information text field to provide your login credentials.
