Hi Admin,

I want to show the category page in the frontpage like this:
images and buttons on them. just like this sample: insanelygoodrecipes.com

Could you help me with this?

Thanks

Hi Shangxiao,

The reference site is showing the Blog Page as the Front Page.

Are you referring to the top section of this page?

Can you expound a bit more?

Let us know.

I see. You can use a Block Element - Hook. Hook it to after_header. Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-hook/

Then, use GenerateBlocks to create such a section.

Here's an instructional video you may refer to to learn hot to use GenerateBlocks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7fwJECtgSg

Basically, you'll need a 3-column GenerateBlocks Grid Block for that. Then, add images for the background, and then add a GenerateBlocks Button block. Give the Buttons Block an equivalent top and bottom margin to center the button vertically.

Hi Fernando,

It works, here is a new question:

I do as you said: Give the Buttons Block an equivalent top and bottom margin to center the button vertically

But the button couldn't keep the position if I changed the page's size

Horizontally speaking, the Button Wrapper should just be center aligned through the Toolbar.

Are you adding left and right paddings? If so, remove this, and just align it center.

Hi Fernado,

I only find the left and right align button center, not up and down

Hi Fernando,

I found a solution, thanks for your help.

thank you

I see. Glad you got it fixed! You're welcome Shangxiao!
