Hello,

I am considering changing my permalink settings to website.com/post-name (from website.com/category/post-name) but I do not want to change any of my existing post URLs.

Is there a way to "freeze" my existing post URLs if I change my permalink structure?

Hi there,

I don't believe so.

The theme itself doesn't control the permalink setting so this is something you will need to confirm with WordPress.
