PDF - view in browser

Hi GP Support -

I know this is a common problem, but I'm not seeing anything when I search on the forum.

I have to link to a .pdf file (in Media folders) from a link in the Short Product Description.

The link gets clicked, and instead of viewing in the new browser window, it forces a download. I just want the .pdf file to be viewable in the new browser window.

These are not confidential .pdf files that need to be protected.

Do I need a plugin or am I missing something basic?
