    Hi,
I get an error when I activate the GP Premium plugin. I tried disabling all the other plugins and I still get it. It’s only on the home page:

Warning: parse_url(http://) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse URL in /raid/home/chairstuff/chairstuff/wp-includes/media.php on line 3744

    Hi there,

Found a couple threads with the same issue:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/warning-parse_url-error-message-1
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/unable-to-parse-url-errors

It seems you might have an extra slash in a URL that’s being parsed.

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Tom,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I checked these links and my debugging mode is set to off and I don’t see the URL having an extra slash. I did FTP into the wp-includes file and..it does not exist! Well there is a folder, but no contents. So I’m going to contact the hosting provider and ask them about this.

Is GP Premium the only plugin active when you’re getting this error? Nothing else?

If so, deactivate all of the GP Premium add-ons in “Appearance > GeneratePress” so we can narrow it down to a specific one.

    Hi Tom,

Yes, GP Premium is the only one causing the error.

That’s kinda funny. I was just thinking of disabling and enabling the add-ons one-by-one and here you give me that suggestion.

I’ve narrowed it down to the Page Header.

Interesting, the parse_url() function doesn’t exist anywhere in Page Header.

The only place it exists is in Sections.

Did your host get back to you at all?
