Parent theme update enquiry.

Hello Team,
I am working in premium generatePress theme, I have done some custom changes in generate press parent theme its is good way to change or create child theme.
Its is okay to update theme in future?
Hi Bipul,
That's not recommended.
The changes you make on the parent theme's files will get wiped when you update the theme so we recommend doing your custom styles and PHP snippets to a child theme's style.css or functions.php .
