Parallax with Sections

Hi, I'm rebuilding a Salient site in GP, and having some challenges with parallax in GP Sections.
I'm trying to replicate the way that parallax works for the section 'Check out our hunts.'

On both of the webpages at the two urls I listed there's a section above the footer called "Check out our hunts." I'm trying to get the Parallax effect for that section in GP to work as per the original site (built using the Salient theme).
Grateful for your help with this.
The GP parallax effect will only begin to work once the section reaches the top of the page. In this case, there isn't any content below it, so the parallax effect never gets the chance to get started.
