Hi,
Thanks for a great theme. A couple of things cropped up, not sure how to resolve them.
In the visual editor, only the word “Paragraph” shows in the style dropdown. No other choices are available.
I installed lightweight grid columns plugin, and when I click on the icon no dialog box opens up.
I tried in other browsers, I deactivated all other plugins, I put: define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true ); in Additional CSS of the customizer (was this the right place?), and I am not sure what to try now.
I am open to all suggestions ๐
Thanks so much!
DinaAugust 7, 2017 at 9:26 am #361092dgainesjIt is somehow related to sections. I just tested it without sections, and the grid columns dialog box does open up. However, the paragraph styles in the visual editor still do not drop down.
Thanks!

This has been fixed in the next version of GP Premium, which is coming this week.
You can install the latest release candidate by opting in for beta testing: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/beta-testing/
August 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm #361231newmedianewpeople.comI’m stuck with a job. When will the new version?
August 7, 2017 at 1:04 pm #361233LeoStaffCustomer SupportVery soon ๐
You can get the fixed version by becoming a beta tester though: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/beta-testing/
August 7, 2017 at 8:44 pm #361377dgainesjThanks Tom. If I do add the bit about beta testing, does it go in Additional CSS? And once the official version comes out, do I need to do anything at that point?
Thanks!
August 7, 2017 at 10:00 pm #361393LeoStaffCustomer SupportYou would add the code like this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/putting-site-title-next-logo/
And no it will just update itself once the official one comes out!
August 8, 2017 at 12:44 am #361441dgainesjThanks for getting back to me Leo. I put the code in the Editor? Or in the Hooks area? The link above did not mention exactly where to put the code.
Thanks for your help!
DinaAugust 8, 2017 at 7:51 am #361622LeoStaffCustomer SupportWait sorry I gave you the wrong link before.
Here is the link: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/beta-testing/
See related article Adding PHP at the bottom on how to add the code.
August 8, 2017 at 8:21 am #361636PeterI am beta-testing with the latest update of GP Premium and until now the issue in the visual editor with ALL dropdown menus not working persist. Also TinyMCE not working.
Makes it hard to work around.
When will this be fixed?August 8, 2017 at 8:47 am #361660TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperAre you using 1.4 rc.2?
August 8, 2017 at 8:49 am #361663Peteryes. Tested it with all other plugins deactivated.
August 8, 2017 at 8:53 am #361665TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperYou say “TinyMCE isn’t working”. What about it?
Are you experiencing issues using Sections, or just the main editor?
August 8, 2017 at 8:58 am #361675PeterOnly in sections. Without sections everything is fine.
All buttons or pulldown menus, that open a selection, no matter, whether it is heading, font-color or other buttons from external plugins, don’t work in Sections.
The strange thing is, that it actually worked until recently and I ask myself, whether it may have to do something with the latest WP update.August 8, 2017 at 9:10 am #361681TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt was the WP 4.8.1 update.
However, it should be fixed: https://www.screencast.com/t/SPO3ZxG3kh2e
