    Hello,

I have set up global typography and now I am creating page layouts. I have created a container and a grid, with the grid I have added a headline and had to add my font (which I did). When I added a paragraph it is not my font and it does not give me any options to add my font, What am I missing?

    Hi there,

In Customizer > Typography, can you make sure the font you have named in the Font Manager and in the Typography for your Body is correct.

As its a Google font it should be in the list of fonts. I can see Montserrat is the font.
The name of the google font should just be Montserrat and not: montserrat light or montserrat bold

    Hi David,

Does this mean I cannot use the specific font variants such as Montserrat light?

So you set the Font Manager to: Montserrat
Then when you specify the font in the Typography eg. for the body you can set the Font Weight.
For light you would use 300
For bold you would use 700

    See here for more info:

    Hi David,

Understood, this now makes sense. Do I need to install them as local fonts?

If you don’t have performance issues, you don’t have to.
    But it’s a personal choice.
