[Support request] PageSpeed Insights 74 on mobile

Hi,

I’ve just installed a brand new Generatepress theme with Marketer Starter website http://www.mattressblog.co.uk/koren. I checked it with Google PageSpeed Insights and it shows the status Needs improvement for mobile from the start. Desktop is over 90 though, can’t complain, but still the mobile is not enough.

I went for Generate press because I wanted to create a top notch speed website with no underlying issues from the beginning. Could you comment on how to improve the speed and is it possible to exceed 90 for mobile at all?

This kind of issue is usually addressed by using caching and optimization plugins.

As for other things, you can try preloading your fonts to improve the site’s performance further:
