Hi, on my new subpages the Title Name of the Page in auto set to the H1 Headline.
is has the css class: “entry-title” bot TOC+ doesn’t recognize it as a headline. So it inserts the table of content after the second headline which is I a table.
How can I stop the theme from it and set il like normal with a headline text field in Elementor

    Thank you

    Hi there,

Any chance you can link us to the page in question?

You can use the private information field:

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi there,

I’m not familiar with this TOC plugin, but all the wide used TOC plugins should have no problem with GP.

The way Elementor handles the h1is very wired, they wrapped an h2 tag outside the h1 which is terrible for SEO.

You are using GP + Elementor on your new page, and the TOC is added to Elementor, I would recommend reaching out to the TOC support.

Is it not possible to prevent GP from using the side title as h1 headline?

I would like to use another h1 headline which is not the site title. but this doesn’t work

You can disable the page title if you want.

There’re 2 places you can remove the h1 content title:

    1. layout metabox of a page/post editor:https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-metabox-overview/#where-is-it

    2. if you want to do a bulk operation for all posts/pages, then use a layout element, set posts > all posts or pages > all pages as the location. https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/
