Page text is all the way on the border, no padding - ??

I've checked everything I can think of and I can't figure out why the text of my pages is all the way up against the left margin.

I'm brand new to GP, so it may well be something simple I don't know about.

Hi there,
That's from the Layout Element you've added. You most likely have a Layout Element set to "Full-width(no padding)" that's applying to those pages.
Full-width(no-padding) setting means the site's content won't be contained to a specific max-width. It means your contents will go edge to edge, occupying the whole width of the page.
Simply remove the Layout Element you've added if you don't wish for this to occur.
