Paul
Hi, it seems there is a bug, if you select the up arrow of page templates within Gutenberg, the options (eg no sidebar etc) completely disappear ! So now
can’t select any page template within the page attributes area in gutenberg.I have read some solutions, see the the URL’s below, but I am still unsure how to implement them. To what file do I add this code (see below)? Or is there another solution? Thank you!

FYI this is the ‘quick fix’. But which template file do I add it too? In the GP forum post this same code was also mentioned. But it’s not clear from the public comments where this goes (but it seemed to work)

Quick FixI added the following comment on my template file and it worked.

StaffCustomer SupportHi Paul,
If it’s a WP bug, it’s better to post the topic in WP’s support forum.
Thanks for your understanding!

The wordpress forum is telling me to talk to my theme maker (you).
This is a conculsion they came too (below). Please help. Here is my post in the wordpress forum also:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/page-templates-missing-from-page-attributes-version-5-9-3/#new-topic-0—————————————-
For me, the view with the free version of this theme in Gutenberg looks like this: https://paste.pics/H1GWPThere is a section “Layout” at the bottom which you can move with the arrow. Starting from the position in the screenshot, clicking the up arrow causes the section to then appear as a large section below the content area of the Gutenberg editor. There it has arrows again to move the section back – if you have multiple plugins nesting here, you can also have multiple sections here that you can move. This is clearly described in the article here: https://publishpress.com/blog/gutenberg/gutenberg-metaboxes-move-sidebar/
I did not manage to make a section disappear completely as you described. So I guess you are not aware that the section is included below the content area when you move it. As an editor you have the possibility to adapt the editor to your own needs.
Please check if the section is visible below the content area after clicking on the arrow. If it still doesn’t work for you, I’m guessing that the theme you’re using, which you seem to be using in the Pro version, is not working properly. In this forum there is no support for commercial products, so I would ask you in this case to contact the support of your theme.

UPDATE: I have now solved this, because the templates section still appears at the bottom in the ‘LAYOUT’ dropdown. So I can still do it there.
But there is a bug within WP or GP or somewhere that makes the templates drop down (within page attributes on the right side) dissapear as soon as you click the arrow.

Hi Paul,
Fields under Post/Page settings in the WordPress editor can be moved by default through the arrow buttons.
Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/geuRxeNA
Can you try clicking on the arrows as shown in the screen recording and see if you’ll be able to move it back to your preferred location?
Kindly let us know. 🙂
