Hello from hamburg, Germany
One page has the widget latest posts.
parameters:
Post content yes
Excerpt yes
characters 55
the read more button link works in the editor (= parmalink of the post) , but not for the website (... # more-id)
What can I do?
Hi there,
This should help:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_more_jump/
Adding PHP: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-php/
Hi,
I'm having a problem that relates to this. I have added the snippet you linked to, and it successfully removed the more anchor. However, it now simply links to the base site. I can't figure out how to get the actual permanent link to be used instead. The posts are displayed via the built-in "latest posts" element of wordpress.
It's regarding the site brfannexet.one and it's on the front page.
Any suggestions?
Hi there,
it is a know bug with the latest posts block:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/20510
We personally recommend using the WP Show Posts plugin.
Was hoping to minimize amount of plug-ins, it's starting to pile up for a pretty simple homepage... x]
That being said, thank you very much for the tip, works like a charm!
Be happy to know that the plugin is also by Tom - so it is lightweight :)
Glad to be of help.
