[Resolved] Page names – How to remove?

Hello,

How to stop the page name from appearing on each page? It is taking up space, and the menu does the job. Sorry for the stupid questions.

Hi there,

in Appearance > GeneratePress there are two modules:

Elements and Disable Elements

Make sure both are Activated.

Option 1: The Disable Elements adds a Meta Box that includes the option to disable the Content Title

You can use this to remove it on a page by page basis.

Option 2: Create a Layout Element in Appearance > Elements:

With this you can Disable Elements or set other layout options, and use Element Display Rules for where to apply it eg. Pages > All Pages

Hi David,

So much too learn…

I have gone with Option 2 and the content Titles are gone. How do I recover the word “Home” which is still showing when I am on the home page.

Ok, so the Home page has a special place in WordPress, if you edit the Layout Element and add another Display Rule > Location and set that to Front Page – this should remove the title from there too.
