Page name and no title

I don't want to add a title to my pages, but I do want to have the slug to reflect the name of the page. If I could enter a page title in white text that would solve the problem (I think), or leave it blank and still be able to create the correct slug.
Hi there,
You can choose to hide the title using a layout element:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/
Make sure the Disable element module is activated at appearance > GeneratePress.
Thanks. I checked that out, but still won't be able to have the URL/slug that I want. Any other ideas? The page list in WP will still show 'no title'

you need to add the title in the page editor, then use the layout element to hide it on the front end.
If you've entered the title in the page editor, but the slug is not the title name, go to dashboard > settings > permalink, and check if the settings are correct.
Tried this. Title disappeared, but page name didn't show up in the URL. Permalink settings correct.
OOPS! Worked. Thanks.
You are welcome :)
