Good afternoon, I have difficulties with the Element “Page Hero – Site Header” and then the merge option.
There is a overlap. I can change that with the option “Offset Site Header Height” but than the menu is not below the header.
I must do something wrong in the settings, but maybe you can see what 🙂I want to accomplish this:
Without header it looks now like this:
With the element header it looks like this:
With the offset it looks like this:

can you enable the header element without any Offset Site Header Height value, and let me know.
Of course David, it is the header element and I enabled it now without the offset.
Might be easies to remove the Header Element, and add that image to the Customizer > Backgrounds > Header. Then include your Site Title in the Customizer > Site Identity. We can then look at some CSS to position it….

Fantastic David, I was thinking to complicated. With Customizer > Backgrounds > Header and placing an image and changing a few options it is solved. Thank you so much!!!
