Hi there, I had created a website with GP and Elementor quite some time ago, where the Elementor slideshow was merged with the GP header. This worked wonderfully. Now I tried to recreate the same scenario and I'm going in circles.
I created a header template in Elementor and shared it to the home page only. In parallel, I created a GP element for the home page only and set it to merge. The Elementor template is always on top of the GP one (the text from Elements is behind it). The page logo is not displayed on the home page at all - only in mobile resolution. My suspicion that it might be due to a custom css error has not been confirmed yet. Do you have any idea where the error could be? Also the content of the page slides under the header area.
You can let off steam ... so far the start page is just a dummy.
Thanks a lot!
Hi there,
I'm not sure I fully understand your question here, are you trying to merge the slider with the header which contains the navigation and logo?
But it seems the default GP header has been replaced by the elementor slider header.
What are you trying to achieve? Could you link us to an example site?
Hi,
yes, you hit the nail on the head. The standard GP header is currently being replaced by the Elementor slider header. Both are to be output together. The Elementor slider in the background and the logo and navigation (output by GP) in the foreground. You have the link to the dev start page. I have set the slider to 50 % transparency and then you see that the logo and the navigation have completely disappeared. Is there a bug or a mistake in thinking somewhere?
thx
Hi there,
if you use an Elementor Template to replace the Header it removes the GP Site Header - so there is no logo or navigation on your site.
Instead of using a template, use an Elementor Shortcode to add the slider inside the Element.
