    Hello, I’m French so excuse me for writing. I just installed GpPremium. this is the first time I use this theme. It is well noted so I try.
    I read the forums and the documention several times. I wish to put a video in head but I can not. I followed the instructions of https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-hero-background-video/
    But it does not work. I only have the poster that is visible. I use Mellow as a library. Can you help me ? thank you so much.

    In this part of the HTML:

    <source src="URL/TO/video.mp4" type="video/mp4">

    Can you add the full URL to the video file.

    The video needs to be served from HTTP / HTTPS
    Try uploading a video to your Media and use the URL it provides.

    For now I have to work in http. I work on a subdomain but the site will be https when it will be online.
    That’s why it does not work then?

    Ah yes of course
    The test video is too heavy to be installed in the media. Thank you.
    Is it better to put the video in the media or can I put a video on youtube?

    What is the best method? Thanks

    Unfortunately YouTube doesn’t provide a direct link to the actual video file, so it won’t work.
    The best option is Vimeo.
