Page Headers Posts Page (blog) Title

I'm using a custom Page Header for the Posts page (blog) Global Location, but the {{post_title}} template tag doesn't seem to show the Page Title for that page. This is the page that is set as the Posts Page under Customize > Homepage Settings > Posts Page.
Any ideas on how to dynamically set that page title?
Hi there,
That's because title are only added on static pages.
The easier solution would be to create the same page header but with the title Blog as the page header content.

I'm having the same problem and I do not understand your answer Leo. I've looked at other solutions on the GP forums to use code in GP hooks but nothing appears to work. Can set the global page header for blog page but the title doesn't come through.
I totally understand how this can happen as if we just called the_title(); we would get the title of the first post displaying on the page. Is there a function to retrieve the page title of the blog page or at least a way to hard set it?
