Thorsten
Hi,
I used GP-Hooks to get a header image under the navigation bar here: http://drc-bzg-siegerland-westerwald.de/
Is the same possible with the customize options of GeneratePress ?
I found the page header image options, but it’s available for the index page of the blog. The problem using GP-Hooks is, that the image is not cached properly and the image is reloaded on every page change.
With best regards and thanks for this great plugin

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
The Page Header add-on adds a metabox to each individual page where you can upload the image.
You can also just add it as a featured image using WP: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/featured-images/
Let me know if you need more info ๐

Hi there,
thank you for your response.
Is it possible to set a default feature image if no individual feature image is set?Regards,

Thank you very much! Works like a charm.
But just one problem still exists: On my category page the featured image did not work:http://drc-bzg-siegerland-westerwald.de/category/news-archiv/
Do I need another plugin or is this possible without?
With best regards and thanks for your reply!

Hi Thorsten,
You could do so by using another very cool plugin from Tom called WP Show Posts ๐
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-show-posts/
With it, you would add the shortcode that it generates to display your “category page” on a regular page where your featured image will be displayed.
Cheers!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt looks like you might have post images disabled in “Customize > Blog > Blog Content”.
