Good Morning. My page header is not loading. If I click see page from the editor, it appears, but does not when I visit the site. On previous pages I have had no issues with this. Can you advise please? Thanks

    Hi there,

Can you link us to the site in question? So we could check for clues as to why it isn’t loading.

You can provide the site details on the private information text field. Thank you.

    Hi Axel,

Page header has already been replaced by Header Element.
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/

Here’s an article about how to migrate page header to header element.
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/moving-hooks-page-headers-to-elements/

In your case, the steps would be:
    1. Go to Appearance > Elements, create a new Header Element, add this Html to the content field:
    <img src="your-image-link">.

    2. Set Navigation location to Above header.

    3. Choose where you’d like it to show in Display rule.

Let me know if you need further assistance πŸ™‚

Ying thank you for your clear and concise instructions. After following them, my page header is still not loading? Question: Do I have to deactivate and delete Page Headers & Hooks in Premium for the new Elements header to work? Thanks for your continued support. Axel

    Hi,

Make sure your display rule location is set to all the pages you want it to appear. The Hook Element’s display rule seems to only be set on the 2019 category. Add 2020 category to the display rule if you want it to display there as well.

Elvin & Ying. Thank you. All working. It’s a bit more of a round about way than the old page header manual, but I think I got it now. Thanks Axel
