Hi best GP-team. I ahve spent a lot of time inorder to make my images look good on my websites. However, it seems like that most of the images are not responsive. When I go the pages on a mobile divice the image is just grey.. How can I fix this (I guess I can’t be the first one with this problem)?
Thanks!
June 7, 2020 at 7:14 pm #1318533LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
The header element/page hero uses background images which are not responsive by nature – it’s not a theme thing.
Any reason why you are using a page hero here? Usually it’s used because some content need to be added.
Since the texts are part of the picture here, a static featured image would be the kind of the only solution.
June 7, 2020 at 7:24 pm #1318539JacobHi Leo, thanks for your reply.
I use the Header Elemnt as it was described in the instructions/documentations in GP. In order to pull in am author and date in a nice way and make the image look good.I have this problem for all my pages, where some of them has text and others not. How do I solve it? I guess, in worst case scenario, I will change the image. But now the images sre just grey for my mobile users.. I have to change that. What is your suggestion here? Thanks

June 7, 2020 at 8:42 pm #1318583LeoStaffCustomer SupportHave you considered using one of these styles here without using the header element?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/entry-meta-style/I think that is the best option right now.
June 8, 2020 at 6:26 am #1319084JacobHi Leo. I like the last one. Please note that I am using pages not posts. Will these styles still apply for my sites that uses pages? Thanks!

June 8, 2020 at 11:21 am #1319661LeoStaffCustomer SupportYou will need this snippet to add entry meta to pages first:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/add-entry-meta-to-pages/June 10, 2020 at 5:17 pm #1322857JacobThanks Leo! I have already applied Example 1 and 2 for two of my sites. Looks super-good. Wish I had known earlier. Thanks!!!
One thing came out a bit strange, I added the codes for Example 3 (here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/entry-meta-style/). For some reason my header and author image and all that comes out above the image and not beneath like in the example you sent.
I would prefer have it like it looks in the example 3. Any ideas why it does not come out the same way for me as in the example?
Here is the site: https://nettlageren.no/shopify-norge/June 10, 2020 at 8:41 pm #1322957LeoStaffCustomer SupportLooks good to me?

June 11, 2020 at 12:23 pm #1324137JacobHi Leo. I mean why does it appear above the image and not bellow like in the example 3?
Thanks
June 11, 2020 at 12:30 pm #1324142LeoStaffCustomer SupportExample 3 is using Above title as the featured image location:
