Page Header Background Video in Safari

Hi,
the page header background video has always worked well in safari. Today I noticed that safari shows the fallback image.
Is there a way to play the video in Safari (desktop)?

In Chrome, e.g. it works.

I just checked in Safari on my Mac and it works.
Which version of Safari are you using? Windows or Mac?
It,s on a new iMac. I think Safari is in the latest version. I’ll check it tomorrow.
Before I noticed that the video isn’t working I run every update, GP theme and plugin and other plugins.
OK. With Safari 10.1.2 it's working. With Safari 11.0 not. Both on Mac.
