Page Header addon - settings for all pages

What if I want to apply header settings (transparent menus, slider in the background, etc.) for the entire site, not just for the blog page? Includes archives pages, search, and other.
Currently you would have to custom build the area inside GP Hooks.
I'm looking into a good way to allow the blog page header to reach more pages.
