Page Header Add-on or Featured Images

Hi,
I'm new to WP/GP and was wondering what the difference is between the GP Page Header add-on and WP Featured images. Like, what are the pros and cons and when to use, that sort of thing.

Hi there,
Simply speaking, featured image is just a static image and page header gives you an option to add content on it.
There are also a lot of options in the page header metabox (merge with navigation etc).
