Hi,
I am trying to add page header to my category page by selecting page header template in category by even after many attempts nothing happened.
Please help as I am able to add page header in other pages but face this issue only in category page.
Hi there,
So you've selected a page header in Dashboard > Posts > Categories > Edit Category but you don't see the page header?
Are you able to link us to one of those pages?
Thanks!
Just want to make sure this is what you did? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-page-headers-taxonomies/
If so any caching plugins?
hi leo,
I have followed the document and also tried after deactivating caching plugin (wp fast cache)
But no luck please help
Sorry so you are able to select a page header from the dropdown list in the category page but nothing shows up?
Hi Tom/Leo.
I have exactly the same problem. The header dont show in categorys. But if i select the header in the dropdown in a single post, it works. I have more than 200 post on diferent categorys. What can i do? Thanks a lot as usual.
Hi,
I was able to rectify this issue partially, in the category settings after selecting page header options also type the redirect URLs and then update.
But there is a hiccup here as well as I am not able to remove the category name below page header.

Thanks
Hugo - not too sure what you mean. Can you explain a bit more?
Ruchika - if you use {{post_title}} instead of the actual title text, it will remove the other category title.
Thanks Tom, you are wonderful.
Hi Tom, i'm trying to add a header to al my post. A diferent one for each category (i have 6 categorys). I select the header in post-caregory-header and after refresh de post dont show the header. But if i select a header directly to one post only, it works.
I need it work by category as yoy explaing in the documentation.
Thanks a lot
Ah, those options will only add a header to the actual category archive - not the individual posts.
I'll definitely look into adding this feature though :)
Hi Tom. Thas what i want. Add a different header to all my post in each category. I have about 200 post now.
Sorry, I meant to say the actual category archive page - not the individual posts within the category.
Of course, you can apply one Page Header template to all posts (regardless of category) in the Global Locations area.
OK. If i understand, Adding Page Headers to Taxonomies, only works with new posts? no with older post?
