    Hello Tom,

To speed up the site, I have recently installed WP Super Cache and Autoptimize, and speed wise, it couldn’t be better. But, since the installation, when the page is revisited (by refreshing or clicking back button) I see quite not subtle flickering effect.

First of all, wondering if this question should be addressed to the other developers. Or would you have a great solution?

    Thanks always,

    Ji

    Hi Ji,

That flicker may just be your site loading – do you have a link to the site possibly?

That flash is just your page loading super fast – nothing wrong there ๐Ÿ™‚

Is that right? Haha. That’s a relief.
But, what I’m curious is that even though I set “Refresh preloaded cache files every 1440 minutes” with WP Super Cache, why does it seem like the page is re-drawn every time the page is refreshed or revisited? You know?

I’m not too sure what you mean? When you click on a link, the resources on that page need to load no matter what. Using a caching plugin just makes them load faster because they’re remembered – but they still need to load.

Oh, I see. that’s where I misunderstood the concept of preload.
Alright, then please consider this issue resolved.
    Thanks very much!!!
