My pages (category)with sidebar are full width (to the edges) My posts, with sidebar are VERY narrow. (they look like they could be on mobile) How do I make them both the same…medium? https://www.lifeisjustducky.com/

    Hi Mary

Can you visit a Post in your site and then hover on Elements in the admin bar?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/BluGdlJD

Check if you have a Layout Element active.

If there is, check if you’re setting the content width there: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/#content-1

Under elements there is a “blog post width” which was at 800. I changed it to 1200 and that seemed to fix that. I see a “GenerateBlocks Full Page Width” But I don’t know how to adjust most of the pages, but leave the front page alone. I tried to change the content width to 1200, but it changed the homepage and not the category pages.

    Hi Mary,

The layout element GenerateBlocks Full Page Width is assigned to the front page/home page and all the other static page, it’s not related to the category pages.

Your category page’s container width is controlled by customizer > layout > container > container width, you can change it from 1775px to 1200px.
