Padding in percentage?

Hi, I've got the spacing module on, but was wondering if you're ever planning to update it so the users can use percentages as well as pixels? I've got my content currently set at 40px and 30px for mobile but I'm noticing especially on the pages with two sidebars that I'd have to set several different breakpoints to adjust the padding - if I could use a percentage it would be slicker, and I know I can turn off the module and do my own CSS but wondered if there's a reason it's not built in?

Percentage-based spacing can be good, but it can also be unpredictable. Pixels are nice because they're exact - what you see if what you get.
We will be trying it out as an option for all of our spacing options in the new year :)
