Padding ignored in container

Hi, I've created Header element for my front page. The page has the title disabled along with a few paragaph blocks. Nothing special here. However the left and right padding for the containers (set to 40px) is not being honored. It's particularly visible and an issue on mobile devices. I have attempted to adjust the mobile padding even further but it is being ignored.
Can you please assist?

Looks like you are using the Contained option in the page builder container which removes the padding set in the customizer:

Try setting it to Default instead.
